It’s the Great Plastic Pickup on 11th-13th May. We’re involved. Are you?

The ‘Great Plastic Pick Up’ is a national campaign in which people plan events around picking up plastic from the environment on the 11th, 12th and 13th of May.

The IGNITE team continues to be interested in all things environmental and will be trying to get involved with plastic minimisation projects this year. So we’ve teamed up with Humberston Colverfields school on 11th May and we’ll all be out at Cleethorpes Country Park doing our bit and collecting waste plastic. This ties in with their school theme too this term, which is all about how the oceans are being damaged by plastic.
