The IGNITE team were very pleased to have been able to help students at Grimsby Institute with their fundraising walk across the Humber Bridge recently. Students from Uniformed Public Services at Grimsby Institute organised a massive 12 hour relay walk/run back and forth across the Humber Bridge in order to raise money via BallBoys for fighting testicular cancer. On 21st October VANEL and IGNITE staff joined with nearly a hundred other people to clean up the Freshney river in Grimsby as part of an organised Great River Rescue event. Far too much rubbish was collected, but the river is looking so much better. Read on for a full write up and lots of photos.
