Do you want to become a Trustee?

A charity Trustee (or a committee member or equivalent for a voluntary organisation other than a charity) is a crucial role.  Trustees and other committee members help direct, guide, lead and support charities and voluntary groups in their work.

If you would like to volunteer to become a Trustee then you’ll need to find an organisation looking to recruit.

Via the Volunteer Centre

In North East Lincolnshire you can start by contacting our Volunteer Centre.  We hold details of local volunteering opportunities, including those for Trustees, Chairs, Treasurers, Secretaries and other committee member positions.

Contact the Volunteer Centre to find out what is available.

(Coming soon – details of local Trustee positions to be listed on this site)

You can also check out the national Do-IT volunteer Database for opportunities.

The Small Charities Coalition hosts a Trustee Finder service for quick access to Trustee opportunities in the Do-It database.

NCVO also hosts a national Trustee Bank service here.
