CARE’s Toys for Joy Scheme This December
If you work for a local agency or organisation and know of a family in genuine financial need this Christmas, you can help them access CARE’s Toys for Joys Scheme.
Every year they provide a collection of good quality toys and gifts where professionals can bring the parents/guardians of a child, and select a few gifts per child.
This year’s Toys for Joy Scheme will take place on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th December at Grimsby Neighbourhood Centre, 289A Weelsby Street (Corner of Wellington Street) from 10am until 3pm.
The next Toys for Joys Scheme will take place on Friday 16th December at Immingham Civic Centre Hub, Pelham Road from 10am until 3pm.
You can bring parents/guardians to these events but without their children. This is because it’s supposed to be a surprise for them!
