We’ve been selling the Beach Hut No 9 Calendar over the past few months in order to raise money for our chosen charity – RNLI Cleethorpes. On Saturday 27th January a cheque for monies raised was presented to the RNLI at the LifeBoat station in Cleethorpes.
Sales of the Calendar netted over £500 and Steve Lynn from VANEL who heads up the Beach Hut No 9 project was happy to be able to handover a cheque (and some cash) to representatives from RNLI Cleethorpes.
Now we’re into 2018 sales of the Calendar have slowed and we’ve dropped the price to just £1 for anyone who still wants one. And any more money we collect will also be passed on to RNLI Cleethorpes. So if you’re interested in supporting RNLI (and having a great calendar for your wall at the same time), then contact VANEL to get your copy.
RNLI Cleethorpes needs donations such as this in order to continue to provide their hugely valuable emergency service, so we’ve been really pleased to be able to help raise money for them in this way.
Note that an exhibition of the photos from the Calendar will be opening in April 2018, so watch this space…
