Positive Activities ‘Spirited’ Programme Needs Your Vote!
Positive Activities are a not for profit social enterprise designed to engage, enrich and inspire people of all ages and abilities, who live and work in our community. They are looking to introduce mental well-being into their existing physical health activities and have made it through to round two of The Aviva Fund for their newest programme, ‘Spirited’. To fund the project, Positive Activities are looking for £1000 so that they can trial the programme and use the evidence from that trial to obtain future funding.
‘Spirited’ is a community empowerment programme which is designed to help individuals address inactivity and mental health issues. The project aims to enable beneficiaries of the project to take control of their lives by helping them to realise their full potential by helping them to develop their skills, increase their knowledge, and in turn, raise their confidence.
However the ‘Spirited’ programme will only be awarded funding if it receives enough votes from the public to be entered into the finals where a panel of judges will award the funds.
