Healthy Lives Healthy Futures Consultation results
As you are aware, our period of public consultation ran for 13 weeks and ended on 26th September 2014. All responses have been collated and a feedback report presenting the outcomes has been published.
A detailed copy of the feedback report can be found at www.healthyliveshealthyfutures.nhs.uk/publications. An Easy Read version of the feedback report will be available soon.
On Thursday 13th November, North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body and North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s Partnership Board meetings took place. Both Clinical Commissioning Groups considered the outcome of the public consultation along with criteria relating to quality, safety and sustainability of care. Both approved the recommendations for the preferred options.
This means that services will remain the same for Hyper-Acute Stroke, and care will continue to be delivered from Scunthorpe General Hospital. The changes to Ear, Nose and Throat Inpatient surgery will be implemented as soon as possible in 2015. A copy of the press release is attached for further information and a short film explaining the decision is also available through the above link.
If you would like a CCG representative to attend your organisation or community group to share the feedback report and explain the reasons for the decision, then please contact the HLHF Team:
