HLC is pleased to announce that the Humber’s stage 1 Talent Match Prospectus for 18-24 NEETs has been accepted by the Big Lottery Fund and we have now been invited to submit a detailed project plan for the indicative £5.2m investment.
In getting the Prospectus approved, we are over an important first hurdle and we’d like to express our thanks to the Bid Group volunteers, who gave significant time and effort to the Prospectus between September and November 2012.
There is still a lot of work to be done at stage 2 and HLC will be working hard with a range of stakeholders over the coming months to ensure that our detailed project plan is robust – and successful.
The next key deadline is 24th June 2013 when we have to submit the stage 2 project plan to the Big Lottery Fund. HLC will then be notified in September if this plan has been accepted. The original timeframe has slipped at a national level, meaning the Talent Match programme will, in all likelihood, now go live at the end of 2013.
In the meantime we will keep you updated on the latest developments and activities via Talent Match Humber e-bulletins and the website www.talent-match.org.uk
