Beach Hut No 9 in Cleethorpes is reopening for the season. Family event on 9th April to kick things off

Beach Hut No 9 on Marine Embankment in Cleethorpes has been closed up over the winter months, but it’s now being opened up ready for the start of the new season.

The Beach Hut had a busy season in 2017 after its refurbishment in 2016 and many community groups and individuals used the Beach Hut for relaxation, fun and a change of venue. The Beach Hut also serves as a focus for a Heritage Lottery funded project – Bygone Beachcombers – and you can find out more about that particular project at or by visiting the Beach Hut.

It’s now time to open up for the 2018 season. The doors open to everyone for an activity day on Monday 9th April and then there is a further opportunity on Wednesday 11th to pop in. After that the Hut will be available for community bookings.

See the poster below for details of the 9th April event (pop in between 10am and 2pm). See you there.

Beach Hut No 9 is a collaborative project – leased by Capacity Buildings Ltd, managed by VANEL staff, supported by volunteers and a focus for the Community Safety Team. Come along and find out more. Lots of information on the beach hut website at
