Kick the Dust – Heritage Lottery Fund
Heritage Lottery Fund has announced a new fund called ‘Kick the Dust’ and are offering information workshops for organisations to attend. If there are organisations out there that would love to go but haven’t the capacity or have other commitments Sector Support North East Lincolnshire is happy to attend, gather information and feedback to you at a local session.
‘Kick the Dust’ is a £10million grants programme for ambitious youth-focused projects that transform how heritage organisations engage with young people. We define young people as those aged 11-25. You will be able to apply for a grant from £500,000 to £1m as part of a consortium, which should include heritage and youth organisations.
Alternatively, if there is an organisation that is already attending and is happy to report back to the wider sector then let us know and again we will happily facilitate a local session.

Big Lottery – ‘Celebrate’ Fund
Since ‘Celebrate’ launched in July this year, the Big Lottery has received over 1,300 applications across the UK already.
Due to the huge success they have allocated an extra £4.1 million of funding to give even more local communities the chance to come together and celebrate.
As they enter the final phase of funding; to build a spread of activity, they are prioritising applications in England which will bring together different communities and generations, are people-led and from schools and academies.
Each country is taking a slightly different approach to ‘Celebrate’, so visit their website for information relevant to the country you are in.
The type of projects they are aiming to support might celebrate something from your local community’s history or a local hero. Or maybe it’s a chance to bring people together to get to know their neighbours better.
The final deadline for all completed ‘Celebrate’ applications across the UK is noon, Friday 21 October 2016.
Heritage Lottery Fund’s Heritage Endowments Grants Scheme will provide grants of £250,000, £500,000 or £1 million to heritage organisations currently or previously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The grant scheme supports heritage organisations to build an endowment, which will provide an annual income over the long term and create a lasting source of financial support. Grants must be matched £1:£1 by private donations raised by the applicant organisation. The deadline for project enquiry submissions is Thursday 13th October 2016.
