Older People in North East Lincolnshire – Activities
Dear all,
Through your network of contacts, please help to distribute this message to older people and any associated carers, agencies etc.
The published “National Service Framework for Older People” outlines a desire for the community to take part in the co design of positive activities, which would have a positive influence on the mental and physical state of older people. The framework promotes an “Active & Healthy Lifestyle” supporting wellbeing and independence.
To that end, we need your help.
Friendship at Home, a leading volunteer based charity offering support and friendship to people over 60 and GHoPA (Get Hooked on Positive Activities) one of the area’s best community engagement organisations have teamed up together to begin a consultation process to find out what positive activities older people across the North East Lincolnshire region want to engage in.
A paper and an on-line survey has been created for older people, their families, carers and specialist support agencies to take part in in a Borough wide consultation process to find out.
