Trustee? Committee Member? Want to talk about it?
Next week it’s our “Tea and Trustees” drop-in support session at Grimsby Minster café. This happens on the last Friday of each month, so next Friday 31st July, Karl Elliott from VANEL will be in the Minster café between 9.30am and 11.30am to talk to anyone about governance, trusteeship, committee skills, board development and so on.
It’s all very informal and you can join in the conversation whether you are thinking of becoming a trustee or are one already. Talk about an issue you have, some ideas you’d like to mull over, to talk about resources that might help you, how you might tap into support or training and so on.
You’re welcome to drop in – it’s free (but you’ll need to buy your own drinks from the café). It does help though if you can let Karl know you are coming (karl@vanel.org.uk). But drop in for 10minutes or an hour – you’re more than welcome.
