Current Volunteer Opportunities

Below are a range of volunteering opportunities from local organisations. However, due to the ongoing covid-19 situation, not all opportunities are available in the same way as before. So if something is of interest to you, please get in touch with us to find out more about the vacancy and how you can apply. This page is updated regularly so keep checking back. Contact Liz@vanel.org.uk or telephone 01472 231123.

As well as more traditional volunteer roles, there are many very small, ‘micro’ volunteering tasks that you might be able to do in spare moments. Winter in particular is going to be very different this year for all of us. We can all help to spread some “Winter Kindness”. The Mental Health Foundation has put together some simple acts of kindness that might make you and those around you feel a bit brighter. Take a read here.
