GHoPA Development Manager

Contract Type:  Fixed Term for 12 months, 37.5 hours per week

Gross Salary:     £25,000 per annum

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Get Hooked on Positive Activities (GHoPA), one of the area’s most respected charitable organisations.

Since May 2007, GHoPA has earned the reputation of being one of the leading youth and family engagement projects. The project engages with users through a range of sporting, media and outdoor activities.

Our aim is to improve the skillsets, employability prospects and the health and wellbeing of people who live and work in North East Lincolnshire regardless of age, ability, creed or social circumstance.

This really is an exciting time in GHoPA’s development as the project is at the forefront of major community led eco project of regional significance which is about to start soon at Millennium Park Humberston.

GHoPA therefore is seeking to appoint a  Development Manager over the next 12 months.

• We seek a person who is experienced in business and who can work well with the GHoPA staff, our invaluable volunteers and with our partner community agency partners.

• The person will have a focus on the development of our existing and new business, promoting and marketing GHoPA, and pursuing opportunities for fund-raising.

• The candidate must be committed to developing positive activities to the communities who live and work within North East Lincs.
