GHOPA asks for help in shaping a new community project

GHoPA (Get Hooked on Positive Activities) is involved in a very large scale environmentally based community project in our region.  They have a request to ask for your input in shaping this project going forward.

Our “Not for profit” community organisation (GHoPA) Get Hooked on Positive Activities, has been generously gifted a significant piece of land in the Grimsby region which will be designed for community and social purposes.

Our £5 / £10m vision is incredibly ambitious, innovative, and extremely challenging.
You can shape the future of the project for the benefit of our community!

Early consultations have indicated a desire to develop a community project which will:

  • Enhance the local environment, preserving and encouraging new wildlife habitats.
  • Create a community activity and learning resource for all ages and abilities which has been designed by the community for the community.
  • Utilise and maximise the use of renewable / energy technologies throughout the site including within the construction of any buildings.
  • Create a family friendly meeting, educational center featuring demonstration areas, interactive displays, a restaurant, a media centre and incubator units.

And I now ask you, to further influence this amazing new vision with your thoughts.
