Humberside Youth Association Grant Fund
Closing date is 31st May 2018
This is the final funding round.
· Does your group work with or support young people (13 – 24-year-olds)?
· Are you a young person (18 – 24-year-old)?
· Do you have an activity that could develop young peoples’ physical, mental or spiritual capacities?
If so you may well be interested in this grant fund.
We are seeking applications from groups, organisations or individuals that promote activity for the benefit of young people living in North East Lincolnshire.
Activity that in particular helps educate them through leisure time activities (but not exclusively so) to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow as mature individuals.

Successful Round 2 Applicants received part of or all the funding they requested to support things such as a teenage parents support group; a campaign group to support and raise awareness of the effects of sexual abuse on young people; developing young people’s event management skills by running a family fun day; providing training to participants in a sports club to support and develop vulnerable young people; provide sports equipment bags to a sports club to allow young people unable to afford equipment to take part; provide musical resources for a young people’s community arts programme; providing traditional old fashioned games for use at community engagement events; and materials for a sensory based community engagement arts project.
Whilst all applications will be considered the Humberside Youth Association are particularly keen to fund innovative, non-traditional activities that engage those young people that don’t normally get involved with traditional youth groups and sports clubs.
As stated all applications are welcomed, but as there is always strong competition for limited funds those applicants that can show longer term impact rather than short term benefit are more likely to be successful.
