WE Day Social Action Club 2017!
With less than one month to go until the return of ‘Mini’ WE Day there’s still time to reserve your school year group’s place!
WE Day Social Action Club 2017 is a free event designed to inspire, motivate and support young people as they come up with innovative solutions to the social issues that matter to them. Last year’s event attracted over 200 school children and young people, and this year looks to be just as big! So far over five schools have signed up to attend, and we anticipate that this number will continue to grow. Don’t miss your chance to get involved!
The day promises to be fun-filled and action-packed! There will be live music from Lincolnshire’s answer to Adele, Chloey Rose, Welsh singer song-writer Cally Rhodes and London-based singer Esther Durrin. Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to inspirational speeches from local people, as well as guest lectures from representatives of the Diana Award and We charity. Not only this but there will also be a number of fun and interactive workshops which attendees can participate in for free.
Sign up free today! Bring up to 30 students by emailing andy@socialactionclub.com or by calling +44 7762 026530. The recommend school year groups are 5, 6, 7 or 8, but other year groups are welcome too.
The event will take place on Thursday 6th April 2017 at the Grimsby Institute. Schools and organisations working with young people should arrive at the Institute by 9:30am. The event will finish at 3pm.
If you haven’t received a copy of the WE Day brochure, you can download it here where you’ll also find more information about the day!
