TWO TALKS BY DR. ALAN DOWLING
We are pleased to share the news below on behalf of Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage:
Our dear friend and famous historian, Dr. Alan Dowling is giving two talks at St. Peters Church, Cleethorpes, in June, and would like to invite everyone.
- Commencing at 2pm, on Wednesday, 8th June, ‘Cleethorpes the Making of a Seaside Resort’
- Commencing at 2pm, on Wednesday, 15th June, ‘Young Visitors’, a humorous account of a Victorian Love Triangle.[This book was written by Daisy Ashford aged 9] You will be amazed and very amused!
Personally I have heard both of these talks by Dr. Dowling and can highly recommend them, and hope you will all be able to join in on these dates. Definitely not to be missed.
