Join Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage on Saturday 18th March at St Peter’s School Hall in Cleethorpes for their Centenary Celebration. The event is to commemorate the Centenary of four well-known battles of the Great War. Doors will open at 11 am and the event is free to attend.
Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage would like to invite you to an event they are holding to commemorate the Centenary of four well known battles of the Great War. The event is due to take place on Saturday 18th March, 2017 at St. Peters School Hall, Cleethorpes, from 11am until 4pm. The event is suitable for people of all ages and entry is free.
Enjoy a warm beverage and a slice of cake as you find out about ‘Lost Abbeys’ around Grimsby and Cleethorpes at a talk hosted by Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage and delivered by David Start. The talk will take place on Saturday 28th January at St. Peter’s School on Cambridge Road, Cleethorpes at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Tourist Information at Cleethorpes Library at a cost of £4 per person.
Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage have had to postpone their guest talk with David Start on ‘The Nunneries’, which was due to take place on Saturday 19th November 2016, and would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused. The talk with David Start will now take place on Saturday 28th January 2017, at St. Peters’ School Hall, Cambridge Street, Cleethorpes and will instead be on ‘Lost Abbeys Around Cleethorpes’.
Friends of Cleethorpes’ Heritage (FOCH)have put a ‘Notice of Interest’ into the Council, regarding the letting of the ground floor of The Knoll, to enable them to create a Heritage Hub/museum/events room/cafe etc, and facilitate a vibrant community and tourism attraction in Cleethorpes, all year round. Help them to get one step closer to achieving this by following the link provided and completing a two minute survey.
