Battle of the Bands: A Night To Remember
After months of preparation IGNITE’s Battle of the Bands event took place last Friday at Moon on the Water in Cleethorpes. The event was a huge success raising £781 to be divided between Women’s Aid and Youth Music as part of ‘Give a Gig’ week. Read on for full details.
Humberside Youth Association Grant Fund accepting applications for Round 2
Funding between £500 and £2500 is available via the Humberside Youth Association grants for people aged 18-24. Initial applications are via VANEL and in round 1 there were a number of successful applicants. Round 2 is now open until end April so get your applications in! Freedom for Agencies awareness day by Womens Aid on 4th April
Womens’ Aid run a Freedom programme every week and this training event on Tuesday 4th April is a chance for agencies and those interested to find out more and to participate in some of the programme so that they are better equipped to make referrals. Patient Participation Workshop: Shaping Cancer Services
Humber Coast and Vale Cancer Alliance is inviting patients and carers to attend a half-day patient participation workshop on Thursday 25th May from 1pm til 4pm at the Mercure Hotel in Hull. The workshop will allow patients, organisations and carers wih an interest in cancer to discuss and share their ideas about how to improve cancer services locally. Heritage Lottery Fund Small Grants Workshop from £3k to £100k
Heritage Lottery are inviting non-for-profit organisations to apply for their small grants programmes, and are hosting funding workshops at their office in Leeds. VANEL are in the process of arranging a Heritage Lottery Funding Surgery at the VANEL office in Grimsby, date and time to be confirmed.
