Funding is available from O2’s GO THINK BIG programme for young people who have ideas which help to tackle mental health issues. GO THINK BIG are holding an event in Manchester at the end of this month for people who have an idea and are interested in applying for the funding. Read on for details.
We are pleased to report 18-year-old social action campaigner and friend of VANEL, Molly Dixon, has been awarded an Associate Fellowship with The Royal Commonwealth Society. The Diana Award holder received the honour following years of involvement with social action projects and community work. Read on to find out more.
In light of the IGNITE teams’ success following their successful funding application to The Environment Now for their CGI Virtual Reality Experience ‘Pipes Away’, don’t miss your chance to apply for the next round of funding. The Environment Now is open for applications from young people aged 17-24 years who have innovative solutions to pressing environmental issues using digital technology.

The National Youth Agency (NYA) in partnership with O2 Think Big is launching an exciting programme aimed at young people aged between 17 and 25-years-old in the UK. The Environment Now (TEN) will fund young people up to £10,000 to use digital technology to find innovative solutions to pressing environmental issues. On Tuesday 29th November 2016, Alex from O2 Think Big and Heather from NYA will be heading to Grimsby’s YMCA from 1pm until 3pm to hold a Thinkspiration workshop with young people to discuss/help you come up with an idea.
