VANEL’s Volunteer Managers Network celebrated this year’s National Volunteers Week (1st -7th June) by holding a Volunteer Recruitment Fair in Peoples Park on Friday 2nd June. The event was attended by VANEL Member organisations such as Dementia Awareness, YMCA Humber, and Counting Hope and also served as the launch of VANEL’s latest funding success, ‘The Blue Lights Brigade’.

VANEL’s IGNITE team facilitated a Parliamentary Outreach Workshop at Grimsby University Centre last week to encourage young people to register to vote in light of next month’s General Election.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to Lachlan’s fundraising Fun Day which took place last Friday at Grimsby Rugby Club. Despite the bad weather, the event was a success, raising just under £100 for Lachlan’s three chosen charities.
