Wishing our Members well for this Bank Holiday Weekend
As we head into VE Day and the Bank Holiday weekend, all of the staff and Trustees at VANEL wish all our Members and Friends a great weekend.
We know some of our Members are continuing to be busy and are still delivering services, albeit in different ways. But we also know that some local organisations are closed, furloughing staff and having difficulties. We hope everyone has managed to find the information and support they need at this time to see them through, but if VANEL staff can help guide you in any way then please do get in touch with us. We wish everyone on your staff teams and your volunteers well.
The VANEL office is of course still closed, but our own staff are continuing to work remotely and are in constant contact by email, phone and occasionally video links with the groups and individuals we are working with. Please make sure you keep in touch.
We’re keen to understand how all our Members and Friends are doing at this time. We do have a survey here that we’re using to gather data about the impact of this crisis on non-profit organisations locally, so either fill that in or just drop one of our staff a line to let us know how you are affected, what you are still offering, and how we can get in touch with you. (You can always just call 01472 231123 and leave a message or email office@vanel.org.uk).
We know many groups have stopped their newsletters and promotion, but some are still circulating and we’ll share some of these on our blog if you want to send them through to us (editor@vanel.org.uk is good).
In the meantime, have a great weekend. Enjoy the break. Hope the weather is kind to us. Stay safe.
The VANEL Team
