NELC have a couple of important consultations open
Controlled drinking zones in North East Lincolnshire
In April 2015 an additional power to restrict anti-social behaviour linked directly to the consumption of alcohol was established across seven wards in North East Lincolnshire:
· West Marsh
· East Marsh
· Park
· Heneage
· Sidney Sussex
· Croft Baker
· South
The order means that a request can be made to individuals or groups to stop drinking or hand over alcohol if they are involved or likely to become involved in drinking related anti-social behaviour. If they refuse to do so they could be served with a fixed penalty notice of £100. Young people are normally dealt with by specific legislation which falls outside of this order.
For more information read our PSPO Public Space Protection Order FAQs (PDF)
Our current PSPO expires in October 2017 and we are currently asking the public whether we should renew, reduce or end it based on the situation in NEL.
The survey should only take two minutes to complete:
North East Lincolnshire Council is consulting residents on their financial resilience to help shape the advice and guidance on offer locally. The consultation asks people about how they would react in circumstances where they would need money unexpectedly.
The consultation will help the local authority to understand the financial situations of local people, how they cope when faced with difficult financial circumstances, and what advice and guidance residents need to help cope.
and have your say.
And our Car Parking in North East Lincolnshire consultation closes on 13th August!
