Devolution Greater Lincolnshire – an opportunity to “Have Your Say”
The ten councils operating across Greater Lincolnshire, including North East Lincolnshire Council, are taking part in discussions with Central Government about transferring some powers and resources to this combined local authority area.
A proposed agreement has been signed which may result in more decisions about spending on some public services being made locally rather than nationally.
Local residents in North East Lincolnshire are being asked to submit their views as part of the local council’s consultation. The questionnaire and supporting information can be found on the NELC website here – www.nelincs.gov.uk/devolution.
The consultation form and supporting documents are also available in hard copy at Council-run venues throughout Greater Lincolnshire – including Customer Service Centres and Libraries.
