Volunteer Bulletin 5th August

Hello again from the Volunteer Centre! We’ve got a bunch of news this week, from volunteer opportunities to upcoming events. If you’ve got any questions about anything, feel free to call us at 01472 231123.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Navigo have two opportunities on show this week, “Dementia Engagement Activity Volunteer” and “Dementia Engagement Community Volunteer.” If you have an interest in dementia and are willing to attend any relevant training and have a full driving license, then click the links above and apply over at Do-It!

If you’re looking for some retail experience, St. Andrews Hospice are looking for assistants in their Freeman Street shop. You’ll be working on the till, merchandising incoming stock, and arranging window displays.

Tukes are looking for an appropriate adult to help safeguard children and vulnerable adults in police interviews. Your role is to assist the detainee to ensure that they understand what is happening at the police station during the interview and investigative stages and you must be present when the police interview the detainee.
