LEADER Programme
Could the Northern Lincolnshire LEADER Programme help your rural business in 2015?
The current LEADER Programme (2008-2013) has now come to an end. However, there is a new opportunity for rural businesses across Northern Lincolnshire to benefit from funding under the next LEADER Programme from 2015 to 2020. It will focus on supporting the creation of jobs and growth in rural economies. Key priorities for LEADER during this time will be:
• Increasing farm productivity
• Support for small and medium sized businesses and farm diversification
• Support for rural tourism
• Provision of rural services
• Support for cultural and heritage activity
• Support for increasing forestry productivity
In order to secure our share of the funding for Northern Lincolnshire, the Local Action Group would like your views on how this funding could be invested locally. What are the strengths of our local rural economy which you want to see promoted, or any gaps that should be targeted? LEADER funding can also support community projects which support the local rural economy.
If you would like to join in this consultation and play your part in determining how this funding might be invested, please complete the online survey at: www.northernlincolnshirelag.org, or contact the Northern Lincolnshire LEADER Team for further information.
