YMCA Humber Volunteer Programme: Media Opportunity for Young People

YMCA Humber is a charitable organisation that is keen to support and develop the talents of young people through its volunteering programme. The Association would therefore like to offer a casual volunteering opportunity to young people with aspirations of working in the media industry, either in journalism, photography or filming.

If you’re a budding media professional and would like the opportunity to develop a portfolio of work through volunteering in a charitable organisation with a track record of supporting volunteers please contact the YMCA using the contact details below.

Applicants will need to be able to provide evidence of their learning in the area they would like to volunteer, have access to transport in and around the Grimsby area, and if interested in volunteering in photography or film, ideally have their own equipment. Volunteers will also be required to undergo full Disclosure and Barring Service checks before commencing any media work with the Association.
