Voluntary Action Calderdale, Regional Voices and eMBED Healthcare are running a third sector workshop which we would like you to attend.
The eMBED Health Consortium have recently won a contract to provide the full range of “end to end” support services to 23 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) in Yorkshire and Humber; a function previously provided by the Commissioning Support Unit (Yorkshire and Humber). The new contract goes live in March 2016.
Regional Voices / Involve Yorkshire & Humber provided support to eMBED during the tender process to ensure there was robust linkage between the third sector in Yorkshire and Humber and the new support services to be provided. There was a particular focus on maximising and sustainably supporting: the VCS’s reach into and knowledge about the needs and assets of diverse and often ‘seldom heard’ communities, building on the strengths of existing infrastructure, networks and delivery in the VCS and informing & influencing eMBED’s knowledge & practice of effective working with the VCS.
It was agreed that a workshop with key regional stakeholders was essential to provide a platform for:
- Relationship building by all stakeholders
- Identify existing good practice and what needs to be done to underpin success in the future
- Developing the ongoing structure of engagement between eMBED and the VCS
- Informing the design of future commissioning support services
