Development Training Sessions on Technology and Governance
We have a range of training sessions and workshops being planned for October to December. Dates and details of what we’ve got on offer. Chance to apply for funding for litter reduction projects
The Litter Innovation Fund (LIF), is a £450,000 programme aiming to reduce litter through projects that can be replicated and scaled. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted by 26th September so read on for all the information you need.

Civil Society Futures is exploring the future of our Civil Society and they want you to contribute
Civil Society Futures has been set up recently to deep think the future of the UK’s Civil Society. Fundamentally they are asking the question “the the UK’s charity model fit for purpose?”. Read on for more about the initative, their initial study findings and, importantly, how you and all of us in the sector can contribute our thoughts to this exercise.

Building Health Partnerships Event 13th September
Humber, Coast and Vale STP is part of the national Building Health Partnerships programme for 2017/18. The focus of the programme is on how we support people to take greater control over their own health and wellbeing in a positive way. Local Social Practice Network
As North East Lincolnshire’s Principle Social Worker, Christine Jackson is currently exploring the idea of developing a local social work practice network. Organisations who employ social worker staff or have suitable volunteers are asked to get in touch. Safe and Well – A Humberside Fire and Rescue Service Conference – 9 November 2017
Humberside Fire and Rescue are pleased to invite you to attend a free Humberside wide conference on Safe and Well services offered by Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. This event will focus on the Service’s approach to prevention activities with an aim of promoting wider health and wellbeing outcomes for our communities of Humberside. The event is on 9th November. ‘Mersey Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s 50th Anniversary Show at Central Hall on 1st October
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of ‘SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND’ album by The Beatles on 1st June 1967, the Grimsby Central Hall Trust is delighted to proudly present ‘The Mersey Beatles’ in concert performing “THE ENTIRE SGT. PEPPER ALBUM” live in the first half of the show plus 20 Beatles Hits from all Eras in the second half. Sunday 1st October at 7.30pm at Grimsby Central Hall. HWRCC Transport Brokerage Project
Humber and Wolds Rural Community Council (HWRCC) are running a Transport Brokerage Project to share vehicle resources and to establish a coordinated pool of transport provision. They would like to ask groups and organisations to support them in this work by completing their survey and responding to them.
