Urgent appeal for re-usable beds and other furniture
CARE is a local charity that tries to relieve poverty, hardship and distress in North East Lincolnshire. As part of this they supply furniture and they currently have a long waiting list for beds, sofas, wardrobes and other furniture. Great River Clean of the Freshney involved 96 people and recovered far too much rubbish!
On 21st October VANEL and IGNITE staff joined with nearly a hundred other people to clean up the Freshney river in Grimsby as part of an organised Great River Rescue event. Far too much rubbish was collected, but the river is looking so much better. Read on for a full write up and lots of photos.
