Arts Council England Announces New Grant Scheme
The Arts Council England has announced that it will be launching the National Lottery Project Grants scheme on the 5th March 2018. This will replace the current Grant for the Arts Scheme. Read on for details.

The theme of this months’ organised dialogue is a challenge for us all. We will look at the impact of negative stereotyping – its ‘costs’ to our young people and their/our communities – and also how we can actively challenge it ourselves and how we can enable/encourage young people to actively challenge it themselves? 15th March at West Marsh Community Centre. This week, a couple of new GDPR guides particularly relevant to anyone doing fundraising (but worth a read by everyone) and a reminder of our March 26th GDPR training workshop.
Pride of Plate event in Cleethorpes raising money by eating vegan cake!

There’s no escaping it. GDPR is coming. And we (you) need to be ready (by 25th May 2018 ideally). I’ll share information, news and resources about it regularly now in the build up to May. So here’s the latest update. A couple of useful new resources and a new “GDPR basics” training workshop from VANEL coming up near Easter.

Grimsby Islamic Cultural Centre opens its doors during Visit My Mosque day
As part of national Visit My Mosque Day last week, Grimsby Islamic Cultural Centre at Grimsby Mosque invited the public into a day of culture, prayer, information, food and more!
