£10,000 awarded to help socially isolated adults in North East Lincolnshire
Local charity, the Gardiner Hill Foundation which supports people with mental health problems has been granted a £10,000 National Lottery Award to help combat social isolation in vulnerable adults in North East Lincolnshire. Read on to find out the story about the new ‘Only the Lonely’ project.
GRIMSBY heroes who lost their lives during the Great War are to be remembered during a special service, to be held on the West Marsh.
And the call has gone out for relatives of those lost, along with local residents, to take part in the service, which will be held at the permanent home of the area’s Memorial Cross and is being supported by our IGNITE team. Read on for the whole story.

Staff changes in the IGNITE team at VANEL
It’s time for a change in the team at IGNITE. We’ve said goodbye to Dan, Nicole, Danielle and Ellie as part of the planning changeover as we start a new academic year. And Jean-Louis is staying on and has been joined this week by Kirsty, Shaun and Jessica. Victoria and Jenny are of course still here for the long haul!
