Local Charities Day aims to shine a spotlight on the work of small local charities and community groups, and provide them with a platform to promote the work that they do. LocalGiving’s #GiveMe5 campaign goes live on the newly recognised ‘Local Charities Day’ on Friday 16th December 2016. For every £5 donation made to a participating charity through Localgiving between 00:00am and 23:59pm on the 16th of December, that charity will be placed into a draw to be doubled by an extra £5 of match funding.
