Humberside Youth Association Grant Fund Open For Round 2
Are you 18 to 24? Are you part of a group who work with, or support young people aged 13 to 24? Do you have an activity that could develop young peoples’ physical, mental or spiritual capacities?
Humberside Youth Association is seeking applications from individuals, groups or organisations that promote activity for the benefit of young people living in North East Lincolnshire. Activity that in particular helps educate them through leisure time activities (but not exclusively so) to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow as mature individuals.
Successful Round 1 Applicants received funding to support things such as camping equipment, equipment to establish a community fitness facility, a graffiti art project, gymnastic equipment that will support young homeless people and a table cricket leader’s course.
Whilst all applications will be considered, the Humberside Youth Association are particularly keen to fund innovative, non-traditional activities that engage those young people that don’t normally get involved with traditional youth groups and sports clubs.
As stated all applications are welcomed, but as there is always strong competition for limited funds, those applicants that can show longer term impact rather than short term benefit are more likely to be successful.
