The Local Transport Plan (LTP) has been refreshed to support the ongoing growth and economic development of the Borough. The strategy sets out the role of highways and transport in enabling the delivery of the LTP’s over-arching economic, social and environmental goals within North East Lincolnshire in addition to meeting statutory duties as a highway authority.
The LTP has been refreshed to:
- Better reflect the long-term look ahead identified in our Local Plan to 2032
- Take into account the changes in local, regional and central government since 2010 when the original document was published
- Account for changes in the level and sources of funding available to Local Authorities to fund highways and transport schemes
- Refresh the documentation to contain more up to date case studies, delivery information and statistics
There has been no change of policy as a result of this review. In order to make sure that our LTP remains relevant and fit for purpose, your views and comments about the LTP are requested. Please take a look through the LTP Strategy here and and Delivery Plan here, for more information. You can email your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>.
