East Coast Community Fund
DONG Energy is committed to providing a Community Fund worth approximately £465,000 each year for a 20 year period to support the coastal communities within the vicinity of its Hornsea and Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm developments off the Lincolnshire Coast.
DONG Energy has appointed GrantScape to carry out local consultation to seek views from all stakeholders on how the Fund should be set up. The purpose of the consultation is to:
- Ensure local people and local groups have the opportunity to participate in how the Fund should be established
- Clarify the areas or ‘funding zones’ where the Fund should be spent
- Identify the types of projects the Fund should support
- Identify the size of grants the Fund should support
The consultation process will have three stages:
The first step of the consultation process is to capture some background information through an online public survey. The questionnaire consists of 15 questions and will take you no more than 15 minutes to complete. It is open to anyone that wants to have a say and help influence how the Fund is set up. The survey will be open until Wednesday 14th September. Please click here to be redirected to the survey.
If you have further questions about the survey please call GrantScape on 01908 247634.
The survey is designed so that you can only complete it once from each computer or device. This prevents multiple entries which may skew the results. Therefore, if you represent more than one organisation you are welcome to complete the survey more than once, but you will need to use a different device or computer.
The second step of the process will involve GrantScape consulting with key stakeholders including Local Authorities and voluntary and community infrastructure organisations to discuss the Fund in more detail.
The third stage involced public exhibitions. The dates, times and venues for the East Coast Community Fund public exhibitions have now been finalised and are as follows:
