Dream Fund Meeting
Dream Fund ‘think big, be ambitious and collaborate with other not-for-profit partners to deliver a dream project’ (adapted: Dream Fund, 2016).
As part of Sector Support North East Lincolnshire’s (SSNEL) infrastructure role they can facilitate and assist in coordinating a response to this opportunity. As such, SSNEL would like to know if there is appetite to meet on the 31st August 2016 to discuss putting forward a North East Lincolnshire application for the Dream Fund.
The meeting will be facilitated by SSNEL to gauge interest, discuss themes, align ideas, discuss lead nomination and agree work allocation. Their aim is to ‘think big and be as creative as possible’ (Dream Fund, 2016).
In preparation they are asking organisations to take a look at the fund guidance which can be found here, and come to the meeting with project ideas for discussion. Projects must align to one of their five funding themes:
- Early child development
- Helping refugees in our community
- Conserving our marine environment
- Reconnecting with the natural world
- Engaging people with arts, culture and heritage
Charities can apply for up £1,000,000 to deliver a project 24 months in length.
The deadline for the Stage 1 application is Thursday 15th September 2016 at 5.30 pm.
Meeting date: 31st August 2016, 10:00am – Centre4, Grimsby
