HealthWatch’s fourth AGM will take place on Friday 16th June at Grimsby Central Hall and is free for members of the public to attend. The event will include talks by guest speakers and a question time opportunity.
VANEL are pleased to announce that we have offered our support to a significant number of local organisations and ‘Communities of Interest’ during the month long period that stage one funding applications to HealthWin were being accepted. Nearly half of the groups we worked with were invited to submit a more detailed stage two funding bid, and we are excited to find out which groups will soon be in receipt of the funding that they need!
The closing date for applications for funding from “HealthWin” is just over one week away (Wednesday 21st September at 1pm). If you are interested in applying to “HealthWin” for funding for a project which benefits your community, book an appointment and talk to VANEL.

Applications for funding from The People’s Heath Trust ‘Active Communities’ annual “Healthwin” are now being accepted today. Organisations’ and groups from around North East Lincolnshire are encouraged to put forward their ideas about how to improve the physical, social and mental health of their community and apply for funding from “HealthWin” to turn that idea into a reality.
Don’t forget about our “HealthWin” briefing tomorrow at the VANEL office between 12 noon and 1:30pm. We can provide additional information about the scheme and support you throughout stage one of the two-stage application process.
