Thrive is a new accelerator programme from UnLtd for ambitious social ventures wanting to scale their impact

UnLtd have launched ‘Thrive’, a brand new three-year Accelerator programme which will provide intensive support to social ventures addressing ‘Access to Employment’ and wanting to scale up quickly. We are looking for 20 social ventures operating anywhere in the UK that are improving access to employment for those distant from the labour market.

Thrive is a unique and exciting programme which gives you the chance to grow your business, and ultimately deliver greater social impact. We are looking for ventures who can evidence traction in their market and who can point to social impact being delivered.

What UnLtd are offering

Each successful social venture will receive six months of intensive 1:1 bespoke business support alongside additional pro-bono support from a number of flagship partners, such as UBS and Hogan Lovells. Our support is tailored, but is built around:

Business planning, financial modelling & strategic advice
Raising capital
Developing routes to market
Accessing specialist advice
Developing governance
Evidencing impact and refining your theory of change

We are also offering the opportunity to secure up to £50,000 of repayable capital if it is appropriate for your growth plans.

Join us for a relaxed and informal drop in session so that you can hear more about the new Thrive Employability Ventures programme at UnLtd. Your chance to hear about the programme from a member of the Ventures Team and ask questions, speak to a participant of a recent Venture programme about their experiences, and network with other social ventures doing a similar thing to you. We will also be providing some nice refreshments for you.

How to apply

Expressions of interest are now open and the deadline to join the 2018 programme is Tuesday, 27 March 2018 at 11:59.

If successful, full applications need to be submitted by Tuesday, 24th April. Interviews for shortlisted applicants will take place on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th June.

The programme of support will run from 2nd July until 21st December 2018.
