It’s the Great British Beach Clean on 17th September

VANEL, in partnership with Keep Britain Tidy’s Beach Care Team and Anglian Water are holding an annual beach clean as part of the Great British Beach Clean on Sunday 17th September in Cleethorpes. The event will be starting at 10.00 and will be finishing at approx. 12.30 providing that the weather stays on our side!

Last year, we had an amazing 21 volunteers at the event and we are looking to exceed this, this year. Thorpe Park Holiday Resort have offered all volunteers free refreshments after the event in one of their bar areas.

The meeting point for the event is in a Car Park on the Thorpe Park Caravan Park. All participants must be signed in at the gazebo. Please sign in 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Directional signage will be in place on the day. The car park itself will be closed off to traffic but ample parking is available in an adjacent car park.

All equipment for the clean is being provided and will be distributed once participants have been signed in. All children must be accompanied by an adult and please remember to address appropriately for the weather!
