The VANEL AGM takes place on 15th September

A reminder to all VANEL Members and Friends that you are invited to attend the VANEL Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 15th September 2016.

The AGM will take place at the Parkway Cinema, Cleethorpes where we have booked Screen 1 for the event.

The formal AGM will start at 4pm, but we invite people to join us from 2.30pm in the afternoon to meet staff and network with other members before we hold a "VANEL Film Festival" starting at 3pm. This short film showing will showcase VANEL work past, present and future and is a new format to replace our more usual in-depth Annual Report which we have prepared in previous years. We hope the new format will be a new way of learning about VANEL's work and our ongoing journey.

Please let us know if you either are or are not able to attend the AGM itself and the social, film screening event beforehand. Contact Peter Hewson at VANEL (peter@vanel.org.uk, 01472 231123) to ensure he knows who is coming.

Full VANEL Members will have already received notification about the agenda and running order of the AGM itself, including nomination forms for joining the VANEL committee. Any questions about this, again, please get in touch with Peter in the first instance.

Although we are not issuing our in-depth Annual Report as in previous years (our video showings replace that this year), there is still a more formal Annual Report and Financial Report from the Trustees which form part of our annual statement. These documents will be published online shortly on the AGM page.

The AGM event will be expected to finish by 4.30pm at the latest.
