Here are some of the funding articles that we have come across recently:
Sainsbury’s Local Food Partner
Sainsbury’s is continuing to expand their successful Local Food Donation programme. Partner charities can collect fresh food donated by Sainsbury’s and/or dry and tinned food donated by customers. They are looking for registered charities to become local food partners across all parts of the UK. Visit their website to find out more about the programme and to complete an application form.
FUNDING: for wildlife and green habitats
Grants of up to £20,000 are available for good causes which benefit wildlife, enhance biodiversity, or renovate/create new green habitats. Consideration will also be given to sustainable energy projects benefitting local areas. Grassroots organisations, local charities and non-profit community businesses that are seeking to effect positive change within their local area are welcome to apply. The deadline for applications is 28th January. Find out more
Colin Batts Family Trust
The Colin Batts Family Trust is offering grants of upto £500 for young people under 25 in the Greater Lincolnshire area. Applications are accepted up to 1st February and 1st August each year. Find out more about the fund, including how to apply here
