Coping and Recovering – Free Training for victims and their supporters
Dear friends and colleagues,
Victims of crime, harm and anti-social behaviour and their supporters can be anyone and everyone.
As part of the holistic approach to putting the victim first in our communities, we will be delivering some short free restorative training packages for people who are victims themselves, or who support victims or who wish to support victims in their family or community to cope and recover.
Training is open to any victim, any family member or community member or volunteer in North East Lincs who is 18 or over and is either suffering themselves or supporting others.
The training will look at harnessing natural skills and techniques that families and friends can use to build networks of support. Also we will use restorative circles, top tips for transformative dialogue, understanding trauma healing stages and supported affirmations, as well as basic conflict and stress management skills. All materials, certificate and refreshments including a free buffet lunch are part of the training. On-going support and aftercare will be included for all those trained.
Three dates are available:
27th March 10am – 2pm with buffet lunch from 1.30
