Meniscus Film Society Short Film Competition 2013
This year Meniscus Film Society teamed up with Safer & Stronger Communities and Franklin College to invite submissions for a Short Film Competition on the theme of ‘hate crimes’. Discrimination based on race, religion, disability, sexuality, age and gender constitutes a hate crime, so budding film makers were asked to explore these topics in their films.
We have a received eleven entries this year from schools, colleges and independent film makers.
All the films can be viewed at http://www.meniscusfilms.co.uk/competition- enteries-2013 and you are encouraged to vote for your favourite film.
(Follow the links on the page to the videos. Meniscus have a YouTube channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/Meniscusfilmsociety)
All the films will be shown at a special presentation evening hosted at Franklin College on Thursday 4th July.
