New VANEL members this month

There have been a couple of organisations joining VANEL as new members this month.  Normally we report these in our monthly e-newsletter, but as we’ve skipped a newsletter for January, it’s worth saying hello to these new members here.

Fusion Boxing Fit

We’re happy to announce that Fusion Boxing Fit have joined us as members. You can find the Fusion Boxing team at Cleethorpes Youth Center; the team believes that boxing is a great way to stay fit, to build strength, muscular and cardiovascular endurance as well as self-esteem.

The trustee boards all work with the NELC’s children’s service and they all have an extensive knowledge of dealing with challenging behavior and vulnerable children. The manager and head coach, Wayne Bloy, is known in the area for having an extensive history with martial arts and a career in professional and amateur boxing. They’re hoping to expand during 2016, so best of luck to them, if you’re interested in boxing, fitness and wellbeing be sure to look at both their website and Facebook.

Side Door Youth Church

Side Door Youth Church are also joining us this month as new members, they make up a section of the Sider Door Methodist church. Their weekly activities are packed full with things like Kids Space, Community Auctions, Group Lunches, Prayers, Youth and Family Outreach, dance club and quizzes!
