Wellbeing Group Life Skills workshops now at the Mind Centre

Mind Centre Kent St

As you may know, the Mind Works programme is based at the Volunteer Centre and are supporting volunteers who have the more common mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression, by offering them additional one-to-one mentoring and access to a self-help support groups.

A Wellbeing Support Group had already been running at Grimsby Main Library for 20 weeks and is facilitated in a fun, interactive workshop style, sharing over 30+ self-help Life Skills  to help survive the distresses in life.  We have recently moved to Mind in Kent Street and  run the group every Tuesday  2.30pm – 4.30pm at the Mind Centre and now run a Creative Art group Thursdays 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

We’re looking for more service users to be referred to us and welcome self-referrals, so don’t hesitate to contact Ian at Mind Works on 01472 231123 based at the Volunteer Centre for an informal discussion  or presentation in your community. (http://www.gcdmind.co.uk/Pages/73KentStreet.aspx)
