During 2012, VANEL built a set of Community Websites to cover the whole of North East Lincolnshire. These local websites (collectively known as INandAROUND.org.uk) cover each ward of the borough and are designed to help support local communities with whatever their local needs might be.
The websites are an ongoing process. Although they are live and active and contain a comprehensive directory of information about the communities across the borough, they are very much in need of continual input and support to ensure they are useful locally.

Can you help?
The websites and the technology is developed and managed by VANEL. But the content, design and how the websites support their communities is very much down to people from those communities getting involved.
So volunteer support is always sought from each area.
Volunteering may be to contribute news and information, or it might be to keep the information about a community group, building, event, initiative or local issue up to date. It doesn’t always mean using the technology itself to make edits to the websites, but anyone who is able to do this is encouraged to help with support from VANEL.
Keep an eye on the blog or the VANEL news site for details of how else you can get involved. Otherwise contact Karl above for more information or to offer your services.
Keep up to date
The project has both a blog (mostly about the technicalities of the project) at http://about.inandaround.org.uk
There is also intermittent Tweeting at @inandaroundsite.
