The Local Youth Social Action Programme is offering grants of up to £5,000 to groups working with young people between the ages of 10 and 20 years old (or 25 for young people with learning disabilities) living in Greater Lincolnshire. Read on for full details.

Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage would like to invite you to an event they are holding to commemorate the Centenary of four well known battles of the Great War. The event is due to take place on Saturday 18th March, 2017 at St. Peters School Hall, Cleethorpes, from 11am until 4pm. The event is suitable for people of all ages and entry is free.
Macmillan, in Partnership with Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust are holding a free six-week self-management course available to anyone living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis. The course starts on Friday 3rd March and is being held between 10am and 12.30pm at St Andrew’s Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP.
The next ‘Way Forward 2017’ event will take place on Wednesday 8th March at the Humber Royal Hotel, Littlecoates Road, Grimsby from 12:45 – 4:30. This years event “Social Action Club 2017” is being organised by founder of Counting Hope and Diana Award holder, Andy Green. The event is open to all school’s within Yorkshire and Humber, and is free to attend.
We are pleased to report 18-year-old social action campaigner and friend of VANEL, Molly Dixon, has been awarded an Associate Fellowship with The Royal Commonwealth Society. The Diana Award holder received the honour following years of involvement with social action projects and community work. Read on to find out more.
