Shoreline’s Osbourne Street Office is permanently closing at the end of next month. As a result of the closure, they are in receipt of, but no longer have any need for, their office furniture. Rather than sell this privately, they would like to offer it to local charities in exchange for a donation to their Charity of the year fund. Read on for full details.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has launched a set of new proposals to improve how they deliver patient and public involvement within the organisation. NICE are keen to hear what people think of them before they’re finalised early next year. Deadline for comments 28th February 2017.

The Mission to Seafarers strives to meet the needs of all seafarers and their families, irrespective of faith or cultural background. Its mission is to care for the shipping industry’s most important assets, it people. The charity are looking for enthusiastic volunteers aged 18 or over, to help them carry out their vital work with Seafarers from all parts of the world, who visit Immingham Docks. Flexible long or short term volunteering opportunities are available. You must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. VANEL’s Community Health Champions team have secured a regular spot at the Cleethorpes’ branch of Morrisons in Laceby, informing people about the health and wellbeing interventions that are available locally. They are hoping to visit a number of other places within the community such as schools, doctor’s surgeries and local businesses.
